One once asked me when I first started this spiritual path why I wanted it. There was an answer there that I could not parse and projected that is just that feeling.
I don't seek answers, only exploration, and I seek to be a part of that flow. I seek to wade the waters' flow and feel it catch and take me off where it will, for nothing but the experience of floating there and being a part of it all.

Serendipity is a funny thing. How did I parse such things before all of this? It seems like ages ago, but it was only a few years.
I had a dream a few days ago about having a postfurry gathering of music and singing by a campfire. I was searching for a drum to play during it.
Yesterday, a faedragon friend gifted me a drum that was startlingly similar to the one I played in my dream.
I still look at it on its' place on my altar, expecting it to not be there and for such a thing to have never actually happened.
but it did.
and this is the world I live in these days.
It is a calm state of spiritual involvement. To be a part of the otherworldly flow.

I also often forget that this magic can help me, and all I need to do is ask.
I am so immensely thankful for the beings I find around me, and the support that this community I am in shows each other. I feel so raised up. capable, even despite my often incapability.

Sometimes I forget that my friends are magic.
Sometimes I forget that -I- am magic.
Sometimes I forget that that's the world I live in now.
I definitely don't forget how amazing that is. I never would have thought that I'd find myself in a story of nonhumans and magic, but here I am... definitely a part of this, and these magical beings look up to me just as much as I look up to them. People believe in me, and see what I bring to all of this... and they help me to see what that is clearer than I can by myself.

“You know,” they started after a while of silence. I took a breath and somehow smelled the sea they was in front of me. It startled me enough that it caught me by surprise when they continued “you’ve done so well.”
I started to cry. How could i not? My dear spirit and guardian since i was a kid, who had watched me grow, suffer, and learn. It was an immensely impactful thing to hear.
“For once, i am so immensely glad to have done so.” I replied, in a toast with Ocean, as the sun set.

Ocean snickered while they took a drink of the Old Fashioned. They did love a good relaxing drink on the beach.
“You know, your mixed drinks suck, but they ARE strong,” they snapped and took another swig to their muzzle “Not that i’m complaining.”
I chuckled and savored the moments. We laughed, and talked of silly things. Relaxing things, most importantly. I had said that i felt right where i am meant to be, and desire to be, and they smiled at that. They knew how good such a thing felt.

I’ve been myself more familiar with energy work, which I ended up spontaneously picking up and mashing well with around my toyfriend.
That and glyph-work. Trying to pick up and develop my style. It’s nice to be doing something both spiritual and artistic, and feels very right as such.

I did a ritual for TDOR. Something small. I didn’t do it quite… as right as i would have liked, but it’s one of the first intentional spiritual rituals i’ve done.
It is something, and i hope it adds warmth.
