Elinor Ostrom's take on academic research and her words about the need for us to translate highly complex papers into books that are suitable for high schools and colleges alike is possibly one of the most interesting parts of her thought so far for me.
Gun-having is a nasty hobby to have. It's loud, it's expensive, it's messy, and it's dangerous. Why don't you consider planting a tree instead? Look at all the stuff trees can do that guns can't:
1. Shade
2. Provide oxygen
3. Bird nesting
4. Grows fruit if you're lucky
5. Tire swing!
Guns can't do any of that! It's spring, time for fresh starts and clearing away all the crud from last year. Trade the gun in for a nice sapling today!
