if I were any good at games I could see enjoying Dark Souls. I think I'd stand a better chance of creating a robot pal who did it for me

@kara I think the biggest failing is that the Souls games really don't have a good tutorial for the most useful mechanics, like dodge rolling, parrying, and stamina conservation.
Hitting things with a highly leveled sword is presumed, but it's not enough in Dark Souls, and the game only lets you learn that by getting your ass kicked until you rage quit.
@kara Don't let the fanbase scare you off. They're on the same level as Castlevania. A steep learning curve at the start, then they're pretty easy once it clicks. I mostly recommend DS2: SotFS edition since it's slower, more thoughtful, and less buggy than the others (and the SotFS removes some of the more egregiously DS1-like enemy placements). -Zu
@squirrellilly @kara I can only agree. Same recommandations, and although it seems very hard early in the game, it's simply a matter of getting how to dodge.
...I have to admit that it's also a lot of fear when bosses or ennemies pop around, do unexpected things, etc. I had great times playing it, my brother too, and we are soooo bad at it.
