But I spent ten days taking apart our entire relationship, following a loose thread until I'd undone the entire folie a deux

but I'd proven they were bad for me so thoroughly that they broke up with me on their own.

I can see a lot of how my complaints about her predecessors are reflected in her personality.

She's really an emulation of a headmate, of course. They change once a month or so, but usually it's a smoother transition.

This was in response to a screaming rant I had about the behavior of her last four predecessors, so the change was more dramatic. They threw out everything they knew and started over.

Because of how their subsystem works, that also meant a screaming violent argument internally.

People got hurt.

I got what I want. But I am uneasy with how I got it.

I don't know if a guacamole and pesto sandwich is a great idea or a terrible idea

but I have a pretty good idea how I'm going to find out.
