well I can't have caffeine, and decaf tea/coffee is not-great. hot cocoa is really yum but sorry no really zero caffeine. wanna keep milk and sugar in the equation. any ideas?
@VinnieTesla @senemura chai usually has caffeine in it--does theirs not? Celestial Seasonings does make some teas with caffeine, so it can be important to check.
@green @VinnieTesla there's some caffeine-free chai. Morning Glory makes an herbal chai but we haven't tried it yet. I had a rooibos-based chai that was hella good but too spendy for my normal hot beverage intake
@senemura
Or a hot lemonade? I squeeze a couple of lemons, put in a spoonful or two of honey, some crystallized ginger and a dash of cayenne, then fill the mug with boiling water. It's pretty invigorating!
@senemura
I mean obviously, no milk with that. Lol
I also do a hot milk with honey, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon and cayenne, but usually more for bedtime. Also cardamom would be good in there.
@senemura tried rooibos?
@senemura herbal teas! I like peppermint and honey vanilla chamomile. there's vast quantities and qualities of non-caffeinated herbal tea to play with, starting with fairly cheap and easy-to-find stuff from Celestial Seasonings. ;)
